Horse insurance

Your horse is a financial and emotional investment and it's important that you have the right horse insurance cover in place. Towergate Equine offers equestrian insurance covering hackers to hunters and stallions to show jumpers. If you own more than one horse we can often include them all under one horse insurance policy giving you one renewal date.

Our horse insurance covers standard risks such as death, accident, illness and disease as well as theft of your horse or straying. The policy also includes public liability insurance in case your horse should injure someone or damage their property.

We can also include optional extras such as veterinary fees, saddlery and tack and personal accident for the rider. If you transport your horse on the road we can add horse trailers to your policy. We also offer a standalone motorised horsebox policy.

Depending on how and where you ride you can choose from the three classes of use below to match your equine insurance needs:

Class A

Hacking, dressage, pony club, novice, show jumping and hunter trials, driving and showing

Class B

BSJA show-jumping and BE eventing

Class C

Point-to-point, team chasing, polo and BE advanced eventing

The horse insurance policy is suitable for horses and ponies aged from 30 days to 15 years. For horses aged 16 years or over please see our veteran horse insurance policy.
